Dr. Vaibhav Y. Nasre is a neurosurgeon specialized in treating and operating brain, spine, cerebrovascular and peripheral nervous system diseases, brachial plexus injuries. He is the member of the Amer ican association of Neurological Surgons (AANS) and Neurological Society of India. He is a recipient of Gold medal in 2019 at Delhi by honourable health minister Dr. Harshwardhan, the highest medical honour in India in national board exams.

He is 1st full time neurosurgeon of Gondia district and has already operated more than 500 cases of brain and spine surgeries at Gondia . He completed graduation (MBBS) from RMC, Ahmednagar and Pg in general surgery from JNMC Wardha . He finished his superspeciality PG course DNB Neurosurgery at KMCH, Coimbatore which has been awarded as Asia's best hospital in 2017. He worked as a neuro surgeon at AIIMS, Raipur for 1 year. He has started working as a consultant Neurosurgeon in Gondia since january 2020 . He recently did his short term fellowship at G.B. Pant hospital Delhi in the subject of endovascular neurosurgery in 2022.
